Paper Sheet Cutting Machine (Sheet Cutter)
Functional Description
This production line, commonly known in the market as a Paper Cutting Machine, consists of three main sections installed sequentially:
Roll Unwinder – Cutting Unit – Packaging Machine, allowing for a continuous and streamlined operation.
The longitudinal cutting unit is equipped with:
- 6 pneumatic cutter assemblies for rolls with a width of 106 cm
- 5 pneumatic cutter assemblies for rolls with a width of 85 cm
Each assembly consists of rotary blades with adjustable holders, allowing for precise width, height, and blade pressure settings to enhance the cutting quality.

Longitudinal Blade Assembly:
- High-precision cutting system
- Upper and lower rotary blades made of SKH alloy steel
- Upper blade: Ø170 mm, operated via air pressure and spring mechanism
- Lower blade: Ø130 mm, includes 5 cutting units, each with double-edge blades
Paper Feeding Rollers:
- Upper Roller: Ø220 mm × 1200 mm, rubber-coated
- Lower Roller: Ø283 mm × 1200 mm, anti-slip surface
Cross Cutting Blade Assembly:
- Upper Blade: 2 units, each 950 mm in length
- Lower Blade: 2 units, each 950 mm in length
- Drive system: Gear and timing belts
- Main drive motor: 15 kW
End-of-Line Robotic System:
- Vertical servo-driven robot for precise paper block stacking (moves downward with each loading cycle)
- Horizontal motion using timing belts for separating numbered bundles
- Elevator mechanism to discharge stacked bundles onto the output rail
- High-power vacuum extractor for removing paper dust and edge trimmings
Cross-Cutting Section:
- Rotary and laser-guided system
- Hardened steel blades ensure high precision and durability
- Adjustable cutting angles for flexible operation
- Uses Habasit Sweden paper transport belts
- Overlap system with polyamide cam and dynamic rollers, adjustable without machine stoppage
Automation & Control:
- Fully equipped with automated fault detection and error reporting system
- All stages of the robotic process are digitally adjustable
- The number of sheets per bundle, total production, and machine operations are programmable via an HMI touch screen
- Cutting accuracy: ±0.1 mm
- Machine paint: Electrostatic powder coating
